Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MBB 3D Media (Los Angeles, California) collects when you use mbb3d.media, request a quote, or use the client portal — how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions any time: hello@mbb3d.media.

01What We Collect

Forms you submit — when you request a quote or send a message, we receive what you enter: name, email, phone, company, property type and size, timeline, and your message. Forms are processed by Netlify Forms.
Client portal accounts — if we set up portal access for your project, we store your email address and project records (orders, quotes, delivered assets) in Supabase. Sign-in uses a one-time email link; we do not store a password for you.
Scheduling — if you book a call, Cal.com collects the name, email, and time you choose.
Project media — the spaces we capture for you and any files you send us (photos, plans, brand assets) for the purpose of producing your project.
Technical basics — our host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs (IP address, request time, pages requested) for security and operations. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.

02How We Use It

To respond to inquiries and deliver the work you hire us for — quotes, capture, production, hosting, support.
To operate project records and invoicing.
To send updates about your project, and marketing email only if you asked for it (every such email has an unsubscribe link).
To protect the service (fraud and abuse prevention, debugging).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

03Your Spaces & Captured Media

Capture work is sensitive by nature — it is a recording of a real property. We treat it that way. Captured media belongs to you and the property owner, and we do not publish, license, or use it in our portfolio or marketing without your permission. Where a project is covered by an NDA or a client-specific agreement, that agreement governs and takes precedence over this policy.

04Service Providers

We rely on a small set of processors to run the business: Netlify (hosting and form processing), Supabase (client portal accounts and project records), Cal.com (scheduling), GitHub (code and content deployment), and Google Fonts (typefaces). Each processes data under its own privacy terms and only as needed to provide its function. Showcases delivered on the SONO XR platform are covered by the SONO XR privacy policy.

05Cookies & Local Storage

We keep this minimal. The site uses browser local storage for functional purposes (for example, keeping you signed in to the client portal). We do not use advertising cookies. Third-party services you choose to use, such as Cal.com embeds, may set their own cookies.

06Retention

Form submissions and correspondence are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and maintain our business records. Project media is kept for the duration of your engagement plus a reasonable archive window, and can be deleted on request after a project ends. Billing records are retained as required by tax law.

07Your Rights & Choices

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you — email hello@mbb3d.media and we will act on the request within 30 days. California residents may exercise their rights under the CCPA/CPRA through the same contact; we do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined in the CPRA.

Where the GDPR applies, MBB 3D Media is the data controller for the information described above. Our legal bases are: contract (providing the services you request), legitimate interests (operating and securing the site, responding to inquiries), and consent (marketing email — withdrawable at any time). You additionally have the rights to restrict or object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Data is processed in the United States; our processors rely on standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for transfers.

09Data Protection & Security

All traffic to mbb3d.media is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to submissions, project media, and administrative systems is limited to the people who need it to deliver your project. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by law.

10Children

Our services are for businesses and property owners and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

11Changes

We will post any changes to this policy here with an updated date. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
